The rough thing about living in the Quarantine Zone, is that every now and then you are reminded that life will never really be quite normal again.

I was walking up to the hill this past week-end to trade in some ration coupons for a cup of coffee, when I saw that another house had fallen. Not quite sure what had happened, but the lower floors were boarded up and the city placed it’s now well-known “CONTAMINATED-DO NOT OCCUPY” signs at every entrance. This property even had Jane’s as the contracted vector control agent!  Not good. Not good at all.

Maybe Jane's wasn't doing a good enough job on this one?

Don't know what happened here, but it couldn't have been good...

Well, at least the coffee was good.
